“We’re very excited to bring the ideas and stories of these eight industry innovators to the Taipei and the world. For TEDxTaipei Salon: Design Transformed, we have invited pioneers in the emerging huaren (Chinese-speaking) market to enter into a dialogue with leaders from the global design industry to ensure that we present a cross-cultural perspective,” says Jason Hsu, Curator, TEDxTaipei. “The theme of this salon focuses on how design is transformed and changed to meet the rapidly growing demand of the huaren market. In a world of uncertainty, design must be different. Design must disrupt and transform. We need to reinvent the way it is practiced, taught, and communicated. Design Transformed brings you a comparative view of how design impacts our lives.”
