In 2012, 4 teams from 5 stars hotels in Asia competed for the best Culinary Team Award. They were Macau team from The Venetian Sands Institute for Tourism Crown Hotel, Shanghai team from Pudong Shangri-la, Beijing team from Legendale Hotel and Hongkong SAR team from Chef Studio HK Black n White.
