ICT security infrastructure company Amiya Corporation (Tokyo; Seiichi Itoh, president) today announced the release of ALog v7, the latest version in the ALog ConVerter server access log series. ALog v7 features a new multi-language user interface and other upgrades.
More than 2,000 companies, including many government agencies and financial institutions, have installed ALog ConVerter as their server access log management tool of choice.
As more Japanese companies enter the markets of Southeast Asia and other Asia-Pacific nations, the need is rising dramatically for proactive measures against information leakage at local offices. ALog ConVerter collects file access log data in an agentless implementation requiring no resident programs to run in the background. This eliminates any impact on existing system environments and reduces management to a minimum, which is a feature highly valued at overseas offices that have little or no dedicated IT staff on site.
As the newest version in the ALog series, ALog v7 offers multi-language support and a completely revised architecture for improved operability and maintenance. Users can quickly switch the program interface language from Japanese to English to Chinese (Traditional Chinese) from the administration screen.
This multi-language release of ALog v7 provides another boost to corporate information security for companies with operations in APAC nations. http://www.amiya.co.jp/english/
